Eco Kidz is a play-based, nature inspired, year-around program that offers preschool for children ages 3-5 years of age.

Programs we offer

3’s/ 4’s Class with Eco Kidz Preschool

1/10 (child/teacher ratio)

We understand that for most children, this preschool class maybe their first experience in a group setting. In this class we help to give our preschoolers a healthy, positive start towards building friendships.

‌We do not use any form of discipline with our preschoolers. Instead, we keep them safe and redirect them a positive way by helping them self-regulate their emotions and understand what their friends are feeling and experiencing too. We teach our preschoolers to be compassionate and courteous to their friends and to themselves.

‌Your child will get to enjoy circle time, where they will sing lots of songs with much movement and play. They will be introduced to our Zoo phonics friends, the calendar and letters and numbers through music and motion. They will get to learn how to have compassion and love with our pet bunny Juniper by feeding, observing and grooming.

‌Your child will get to play with natural materials, wood, paint, markers, glue, and, yes, even scissors! Creating beautiful art from around the world to share at home.

‌Early learning such as colors, shapes, counting and letter sounds are built into our zoo phonics curriculum through playing group games, reading stories, practicing yoga moves and making natural doughs.

‌We attend field trips during the school year to local places such as D.D. Ranch, The High Desert Museum and ‌much much more!

Mostly we have lots and lots of joy and create positive, happy memories to last a lifetime.

Extended Lunch & Play: 11:30-1:00
